Hi, my name is Bindu and I am a self-taught illustrator.
I’ve been doodling since I was a kid, but spent the first 15 years after graduation as a journalist. Through those years, I kept illustrating on the side. In December 2016, I attended a short illustration course at London’s Central Saint Martins after deciding to take illustration more seriously and by August of 2017, I had quit my job to get into illustration full-time. I finished a 100 day project on Instagram in the first week of January 2018, partly as a way to build up a portfolio but mostly because I wanted to get into a routine of drawing every day.
